The next few hours consisted of gun training and weightlifting. The zombie practice was cut short due to the terrible shape the undead bodies were in. They were making a terrible mess all over the floor, and they were stinking up the entire complex. I went into my interface and disengaged my control of the bodies. Choicemaker and Stranger Zero took them out to a nearby dumpster and tossed them in. Maker said it was trash day, and they would take care of Harry and Charlie soon enough.

“Dalton, Euthani, Blowkos...come to the control room. We need to have a team meeting. Zama and Fiji have arrived from their mission. Let’s go,” Choicemaker yelled from the other side of the gym out of sight.

“Zama? Fiji?” I asked as I placed my 100-pound dumbbells back on the rack. Euthani’s ears perked up at the names as well. I thought we had met the whole team.

“You don’t know about Zama and Fiji?” Blowkos asked with a surprised look on her pale white face.

I chuckled. “If I did, I wouldn’t have asked you.”

Euthani walked up beside me and hugged my arm. “Eek, you are sweaty.”

“I’m sorry, it comes with the territory, I’m afraid. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears go into constructing the body you see here.”

“You are such a dork. I will get that hug later when you shower...deal?” the fox girl asked as she threw me a towel to wipe off the excess sweat.

“Deal.”

Blowkos exhaled with frustration. “Do you want to know about them, or are you going to eye fuck each other for the rest of the night?”

Euthani winked at me with a cute smile. “Sorry, Blowkos. We are all ears, see?” The fox girl moved her ears like they were dancing on top of her head and then she giggled.

“The puns are strong in you little one,” I sarcastically punched Euthani on the arm.

“Ugh, I give up,” Blowkos huffed and began to walk past us. I grabbed her wrist and kissed her on the cheek. She reddened and grinned at the gesture.

“Please continue. We’ll be good, I promise,” I told her.

“Zama and Fiji are the only other members of the Cosmic Peacekeepers. Choicemaker sent them on an undercover mission a week ago. They worked on getting intelligence from the Copper Sharktooth Posse, and they were to return to tonight and tell us what they had learned. Choicemaker wants to rid Osiris of the posse.”

“Funny, he never mentioned them before. Let’s not keep them waiting,” I replied as I threw the white towel over my shoulder and began to walk toward the control room. I stopped a few steps into the trip. “I guess these are monster girls as well?”

“Of course, Zama is a lamia, and Fiji is a bunny girl.”

“Lamia, what the hell is a lamia?” I asked as I scratched the back of my head.

Blowkos chuckled and passed me. “You’ll have to see for yourself.”
